• architecture of the homes (likes the Victorian and the Brick homes)

• close school proximity

• good people
• close proximity of little stores
• parks for the kids

• vacant lots - fire hazards

• new and unfamiliar with the area

CENTRAL OAK PARK

• gangs
• people throwing down trash
• homeless people (feels bad about their situation)

• small stores in the area are no longer owned by community people and they charge too much
• not enough community stores - lots of people without cars and taxis are expensive

NORTH OAK PARK (aka Med Center District)

• lots of traffic after work hours for 1-2 hours

• crime - lately robberies
